Canon AV-1 Series: Album 1 - Nature's Work

bloom.

Photography has been an art I have always loved practicing. With special thanks to my dad's decades-old Canon AV-1 film SLR, I was able to really start making a hobby out of capturing the beauty around me, from nature, to food, to family and friends. Nothing has quite matched the grace of seeing my developed photos for the first time.

Sadly, my precious AV-1 has had its memorable run of shutter clicks and no longer works as flawlessly as before. Any current photography of mine seems only to consist of iPhone quality snaps of food, accidental screenshots and multiple procrastination selfies.

In memory of my dearly beloved SLR, here is the first digital album of a short series I will be sharing with you all.

Canon AV-1, you'll forever be in my heart... and in my drawer.

I've named this album "Nature's Work" because these photographs capture natural beauty and order at its best.

Most of these were taken in Cornwall during a group holiday with family and friends in 2011.

These are all raw, unfiltered analog photographs.
